BESPOKE PROGRAMMES
BESPOKE PROGRAMMES
This bespoke option will give you the specific content we believe you need to close your particular capability and culture gaps, delivered in a way (mode, cadence, faculty style) that will land with your leaders.
This option works well for populations of relatively senior leaders who want to learn together and usually in person. Such programmes offer the opportunity for leaders not only to learn, question, challenge and discuss the new content with faculty (Elsbeth and her hand-picked network of fellow “pr-academics”); but also to spend time getting to know each other. This means leaders leave these programmes with new knowledge and a plan for how they will apply it, and also with a deep network of colleagues who’ve become friends. Both are essential to help them implement strategy or navigate and lead change.
Our process for bespoke programmes has the following steps:
Step 0: You choose us
This is the ‘starting whistle’ for our work together.
Agreement on objectives, budgets & timelines; all contracting complete.
Step 1: Discovery Phase
1-to 1 conversations with key stakeholders. Plus a review of your current strategy, OKRs & any data on culture or engagement
Step 2: Design Phase
Working up & agreeing the final design of the interventions - content, cadence & modes - & creating the pre-work materials.
Step 3: Programme delivery: often a mix of in-person and virtual live sessions for the various populations
Finalised as a result of Steps 1+2, but most L&D programmes typically comprise:
1. Key Frames to help the participants navigate the content, & their roles/expectations.
2. Recorded teaching videos as pre-work i.e. not just pre-reading but actual content prior to the in-person session.
3. Multi-modular in-person sessions to provide (1) further content; (2) the opportunity to reflect and plan how they’ll use it; and (3) the opportunity to network and share ideas.
4. Inter-sessional check-ins between Modules - virtual sessions to celebrate what’s working well and to advise on how to fix what’s working les . well
4: AARs and further support Stepas required
Regular AARs (e.g. after each Cohort) to ensure the program objectives are being met
Ongoing conversations with senior leaders about further interventions the org may need - e.g. with the SLT, or on the strategy itself
